Just how much complicated do you suppose things are going to get?
Perhaps it's just a bit of cabin fever, a touch of the blues, or even a wee bit o' depression but I could do with getting out and swinging a coil over some sand for a day; just one day, to blow  away the cobwebs and recharge me batteries!

But with the annual influenza season creeping up on us, the seasonal rush for A&E, and a possible third Covid-19 peak just around the corner; I suppose that some of us oldies should have been practicing shielding and social distancing years ago!

Well, back to the tear restrictions and see if I can find enough wiggle room to get me over the Welsh border from Merseyside and out swinging a coil over a wee bit o' sand; or do you suppose they would turm me back at the border?  Roll Eyes

It's all turning out to be quite an adventure; isn't it?  Undecided

Hi mate I don't think your alone I wouldn't advise trying to get into Wales as I ve heard that travel in and out is for only certain reasons, yep there will be a 3rd wave pretty sure of it but if ya live in a tier 2 area there's no reason why you still can't enjoy swinging locally,, IMHO I haven't been affected by these lockdowns at all regards tectin maybe being lucky or forward thinking I don't know but in over 20 years tectin I've never had to travel out my home county to detect.

Sorry Chris but you're not allowed over the border without a reasonable excuse.  The police were stopping cars on the A55 last week and turning people back.  The rules change again on Friday coming and it looks like a lockdown again.

                        Thanks Chris.  Roll Eyes

Perhaps we can do some tecting by proxy, I can tell you where the treasure is
in the sand and you can dig it.  Wink

Never mind m8, I will just have to try and get back onto a local permission up
here but I do miss my old beach haunts.

Never mind Chris it will still be there in the spring if this vaccine works. You are lucky that you didn't come down earlier in the year, they were stopping all cars on station road,  I thought there must have been a murder.

A bit like the day some one left the gate to the beach carpark open and the sea turned all those cars into submarines! Luckily, on that day I had parked down Ganfer Wen and didn't know that there had been a problem until I came to leave and discovered all the chaos at the junction with Station Road.

Got three new (small) permissions down there now and a request to hunt down a ladies ear rings on her paddock. Also have a farm holiday booked close by but have had it cancelled twice now!  Angry
