I've hardly been out - but all it would take is a one decent permission to keep me going for another few years at least Smiley

I think with another round of lockdowns our hobby is going to be hammered again...

Seem to be a lot of hammered and siliquae coming up at the moment - sadly not when I'm around to find them !

Strange you should say that carling. I was only thinking yesterday, maybe I should be honest with myself and admit Iíve run out of steam and enthusiasm since this enforced break.
Ive only been a max of 13 miles from home once since the beginning of March and I had to admit to feeling panicky when the happy campers were allowed back into Wales. Iíd got used to staying local with very few cars on the road to the Co-op. Thatís about as far as I got, 2 miles, for weeks.
Sad to admit, Iím quite happy within the confines of my little kingdom . The sad ting is, I feel guilty ! How sad is that.

Hi val yep I just thought it time to pack up it wasn't nothing to do with the lockdown I live in Herefordshire my nearest perm is 15 mins walk away and I think I've done 5 rallys since I started tecting,, I've just had a good run and have no faith in the hobby as I stated I've had my glory days and these days I feel there's very little left to detect and even less to find and I just think detecting as just become a unproductive waste of time.
