Evening all. My Safari upper shaft wasn't looking great so I got busy with the paint stripper.

Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what primer/paint to use for the re-spray?

Cheers. Stay safe...

That did cross my mind Val but wanted to put it out there just in case there was a specific type of paint available, hard wearing and all.

Sounds like a logical choice. As far as I can remember the top part of the Safari is metal. So either car paint or Hammerite.

Good luck with it.

Yeah, looks like some etch primer and car paint. I'm sure that'll do the trick.
