With the sad loss of Derek Jones I thought  a memorium section with a photo and text about the detectorists life story
would be interesting to forum members instead of been lost in the many pages of general discussion.

Great idea Rob!

I hope someone going to say something nice about me when i pass away.... I think id better write my own lol

Me and Des, Byron  got some really good storys about Derek its been a great help with our loss talking about our time with him as im sure it would help many friends and relation of the dearely departed .
I think it would be a good idea to include Club members and friends who are not on the DW forum.
We got a few members of RARE that havnt even touched a computer yet along joined a forum i think they should be included as well so we can all celebrate there lives

hi rob a very good idea that,members and friends could then look back and think about the times they all had together and people that didnt know him or them could then see what passed members where like ,    (all about memories)
