Brecon Mdc is braving the bad weather forcast and holding our rally as planned for tomorrow Sunday 9th February 2020.

Hopefully we all wont get blown away. Grin

From the forecast it seems to be mostly passing further west - at least from Cardiff.

Having spent 4 years at school in Brecon, I remember well seeing the bad weather around Brecon, but it was usually better there Smiley - mind you I was saying to people this week, I remember school being shut early towards the end of Feb most years due to the snow we used to get there Smiley

Well it got quite grim.

By lunch time finds were quite scarce except for a few pre decimal coins. Most decided that the wind and rain was toomuch and left.

I stayed till 3.00pm having changed 4 times, one feels a few manuafacturers should  have worn what was supposed to be waterproof coats.

We were in a very roman area and one had the distinct feeling that a few hundred had been detecting b4 us  Wink

Detecting for me will always be the thrill of the chase Grin

Tomorrow another day, hopefully dry.
