Cracking ring well done and it's a shame to hear about the flo.. I feel at this present time there appears to be a sort of witch hunt going on against and sometimes within the detecting circle. I decided a while ago not to post finds anywhere don't matter if its a broken hammered or a cracking gold. The law regards tectin will change (again) and who's to say that the authoritys can't look back and ruffle a few feathers whatever the find..theres to many variables in this hobby these days and as I've said before it will only get worse as finds and land become more scarce.

A beautiful find but alas where treasure is involved there has often been sculldugery and scandal. Hopefull you will have the ring returned to you and do with it what you wish; unless the original owner turns up to cllaim it!  Wink

Many of us, whilst detecting, often report strange feelings of having been watched; perhaps the original owners are reluctant to really let go of their losses.  Roll Eyes
