Hi All,

Don't have a picture yet but I found a tiny coin copper/bronze with Scottish Thistle on one side and looks like "IIII" with crown above? and E? R on either side. Smaller than a 5p piece. Is that Elizabeth 1st if ER?

Never seen one before.

Will get a picture when I can.

Regards,
Jon

Thanks Nobby.

You helped me in the right direction as it looked like an E R but I can see it is an I R for James.

However, it is not a coin, I have just found an example on PAS:

I will post a picture of mine at some point.
