Has anyone got any information on what this was, from all that's left. Was it a pendent, coin etc.

Iím not too well up on coins but I think I can say this isnít one. It looks more like a commemorative medal but of what or who I canít tell.
I can see a mans head but it could be anyone. The hair style, what I can see of it, looks to Age the man to maybe 16 or 17 hundreds.
Maybe someone else will have seen one similar and can help.

At a glance it looks to be some sort of religious pendant. Have a look at this picture, the border around your item is similar to that of the picture I have attached. I think if you research down this road you should come up with something similar.

I knew Iíd seen that border before but couldnít remember where. I have a bit of a mental block about anything catholic. Went to a convent school. Terrible experience !
