13" Ultimate - at least that's my preference - it's not heavy and it's good for small and large items. I found my hoard with mine Smiley

13” Ultimate, greater coverage of the ground and not too heavy, don’t think it goes a lot deeper, it’s a bit subjective but I don’t think I find a lot of deeper stuff.

It must have some greater depth, because as I said in the other post, within a week of owning it I'd found a hoard in a field that had been detected by me for a few years and for many years by others - including Mike from this site - I saw what he was pulling up from the field, so I went and bought one! (the Ulitmate coil, not the field!)

No argument from me, if you have proved it deeper as far as I’m concerned it’s deeper, my only comment was that I had not noticed, but had not carried out tests.
