I wish them every success in thier new venture.

They will be fairly central and much closer than any of the others so they could do quite well.

Thanks for letting us know Paul.

Thanks for posting Paul.

Great for us in the South, sorry those in the North are left out.

Should be a good boost for the hobby locally, because of course there's been no detecting shop in South Wales since Tony and Elaine Maz closed their retail shop in Porth (quite a few years ago now).

I expect I'll pop in there some time soon  Smiley

Looking at the live youtube feed from Pete Turrel today id say Maz,s shop was bigger, granted not as well stocked.

Funny quirk fate, a few years before Tony had his shop, i used to run a business from the same premises in Ynysir.

I started detecting after a chance meeting with Elaine, i was walking my Lassie collie and she was detecting an old Parish road in the Rhondda Fach, i asked, had she "found anything" and she told me about  Tony,s RARE club, so rushed out and bought a Treasure ace, from Regton not from Tony he hadnt opened his shop them.

After 6-7 years of detecting on my own first then with Des my father-in-law, i finally turned up at a club meeting,........ i dont like to rush into things lol
