Hi guys, it's been a while, I was out early yesterday for some pasture searching and rescued the following. A nice little enamelled Umbonate Brooch around the 2nd cent.....also a what looks like  part of a pewter Medieval Pilgrims badge interestly the 2nd one from this field lately.
I recently added a new program to the Deus, it's called the "Sonar" see (XPSkill School) by Gary B...on YOUTube. This has become a favorite search program for me, it can be a little sparky amongst the iron as it is based on the Deep program, however changing to the Hot as a baseline improves this.... Wink

Love the brooch Paul but am mystified by the partifact. Makes me wonder if I’ve thrown some bits in the bin. I s’pose it’s all down to experience. As far as I know, I’ve never come close to one so don’t know what one might look like.
Nice to see the Roman hasn’t persuaded you to retire  Grin

I was too Val, but I had a link to the Pilgrim badge....Not retiring yet lol....But I mite treat myself to the new Anfibio machine it looks a bit tasty Sid on utube has done some tests and I am thinking of running it over a few fields to see if it can lift more targets than my Deus......Will still keep the old girl thou, Also the Anfibio will out perform the Deus on the beach so I can do more beaches again. Let you know when I do... Wink
