Found this interesting object recently. Not sure what it is but looks similar to the hooked element to a Roman steelyard. A part of the hook is decorated and there is an aperture for suspension.  Anyone know better? Cheers.

Not a clue jaydogg but if it’s decorated it must be something worth keeping. It certainly looks old.
Well found, I love bits like that. You never know when an ID will pop up.
