The ground is very hard but managed to find my first Victorian sixpence, George III shilling forgery dated 1820, a very thin and worn William III farthing? Huh And an unusual brooch??? looks to be old any ideas? It has some design on the top. All uncleaned  Cool Smiley

Well done on going out in these temps. The wind has mad it a bit more pleasant but still very hot.
There’s no shortage of coins there and the Vicky 6p is in great condition. Should clean up well. Not much hope for the others  but at least they give an idea of age to any settlement.
The brooch, I think, is more likely to be a small drawer handle with the attachments on the back broken.
Looks good for some better finds when the ground softens up.

Hello Val, sorry for the late reply I was on holiday. Yes it was a very hot day I was hiding under a tree for shade lol. I'll only clean the 6p and brooch/drawer handle and see if there are any more markings. I'm hoping to go back this weekend and see if I can find any more Grin  Cool
