Can take ages. All depends how quick your FLO is.
I had a treasure case,  a battered incomplete 15thc silver guilt ring that took 4 years and I was awarded 50% of £10. There was more money spent on stamps on all the letters generated by the procedure.
Remember Welsh treasure cases go to Cardiff then eventually to BM which drags it out even more.
Though the 14 day rule also applies to FLO 's,  most seem to ignore it.

A good bit of advice is to certainly 'Get comfy as you may have a long wait!'

What sort of find was it? this may help with an indication as to whether it needs to go through Treasure etc.

Good luck

I don't know how it works in Pembrokeshire, but in Cardiff the service is very efficient.

Mark Lodwick the FLO comes to the monthly Cardiff Scan Club meetings. If you hand in finds one month he usually has them back by the next meeting.

Well Mark is just back from an enforced 3 month break as he hadnt taken Holidays for years.
We have the same arrangement he visits Club every 2 months and we also have non treasure items
back at the next meeting.  Paul.

I did wonder why he had three months off Smiley

Mind you I feel as if I could do with a couple of months off, although that isn't going to happen for another 25 years (or later if the government bumps up retirement age again).
