Me and Ron set out early yesterday morning for our second search of the week.  When we arrived at the farm it was very cold, but we were well prepared with hats, gloves scarves etc. to keep us warm.  We had plenty of finds and a lot of the usual scrap.
In total we had 12 Roman copper alloys, a few poor hammies, a George 3rd silver sixpence, 2 farthing type tokens, pennies and halfpennies, including a nice 1746 George 2nd halfpenny, a crotal bell and what I think could be a lead Pilgrims Pendant?
(any info please).  The ground started to get sticky as the sun warmed the surface, but we persevered and searched to the bitter end.  We then called in to see the landowner and gave her some finds from our previous visit, and Ron presented her with a lovely surprise, one of his hand carved walking sticks with a carved horses head at the crown.  The Liberty quarter dollar was found during a midweek search.  Cheers and Happy Digging !!!  Tom.  (Ron will post his photos later).

All cleaned up lovely Ron.  It would be nice to know what the bronze, spoon like piece is?  And it would be nice if you posted a photo of the special walking stick you made and presented to the landowner.  It is excellent workmanship.  Cheers.  Tom.
