I’ve been a member of DW for over 7 years now and I’ve always thought what a special place this is. I know it’s officially a Detecting Forum but I now have proof that it is much more than that.
It’s a Family.  Members come and go, some I’ve met and others I’ve helped on their way to a satisfying hobby in detecting. Just as I was helped on many occasions. I’ve had my leg pulled (excuse the pun) but never been made fun of. An old lady, accepted without question in what is a family of very special people with one thing in common - detecting.

The last few days have proved how strong that connection is by the way so many members have come forward with good wishes and advice after my stupid accident. And I know I’m not the first.
In this day and age it is comforting to know that there are still people who care about each other so I would like to say a heart felt THANKYOU to one and all and wish you all

Very Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year.

p.s.  for the next few weeks I’m going to be bored out of my brains so keep the finds and
        Pics coming, please.

Stay safe, stay well, and have a lovely relaxing Christmas Val. Tell John that curried sausages with chips, or canned chicken soup over chips with lashing of thick bread and butter can make a nice change to turkey. Smiley
