It would be helpful if those that post photographs of thier fins in the gallery put something alongside the artefact to give us an idea of the size of the object. A coin of the realm would do. I assume that they are photographed and then put on the page.

All of my finds were photographed a long time ago and I no longer have them but I have put some sort of size at the bottom of the picture when I thought of it.

Yeah, good suggestion Charles,  i think most of my pix hasn't got anything to give anyone any idea of the size,  good one for the future though.  thanks.

Some of the roman minim,s are hard to judge the size of
so a Decinal coin or something like it would be a good comparison of the sizes

OK , maybe that too,  but as long as posters can recognise a size then that is ok.
An old half penny would do, for instance.
No big deal though but it is diffiult to judge a size if there is nothing to compare it with.
