Cleaned up nicely Ron.  A lovely day and some nice finds between us again (down south where the Romans came from lol.).  Nine Roman coins, another Jetton (that's four from this farm so far), that lovely crotal bell, buckles, strap ends, musket balls, silver hammered and lots of bits and pieces.  Variety on this farm is immense and plenty more there for us hopefully.  ID on the hammered and the Romans would be nice please.  Happy Digging!!  Tom.

Thanks for the comments guys and the ID on the hammered.   We certainly dig a lot of holes Paul.  We end the day aching from head to toe, but always with a smile on our faces and a wonder as to what we'll see amongst our finds, once cleaned.  Then we have a good laugh on the way home, usually at the funny things we've done or seen during the day.  And we tell lots of ridiculous stories, as you can expect from a pair of fishermen. lol...........It was this big!!!!!  Happy Digging!!  Tom.

Nice selection again - the romans are of Constantine (left) and Crispus (right).

Interesting that you have had another token - I've found a bit of a token patch myself, and last week found my first Nuremberg Rechenpfennig (like yours) - all my other ones have been Bristol or Taunton ones - mine you the museum said if I found another 4 or so, they'd count as treasure........

Thanks Probono for the Id's on the Romans and explaining the fact that the most recent Jetton/token is German and not French like the previous three we have found on the same farm.  Very interesting!!  Cheers and Happy Digging !!  Tom.
