As I’ve said in another post I might be getting a ctx, I currently have a safari.
I’m just wondering how hard they are to get your head around? I’ve had a look at a couple of videos and there seems to be loads of setting etc you need to know?
Thanks

When I had mine rainyday I downloaded A couple of settings but had to change them it drove me mad, as ferrous was high pitch and non ferrous low, up to then I had a Soverign Elite so was opposite way round....easy enough to tweak to suit though. As I only do arable and pasture at the moment the mighty Deus is my choice and has been for a good few years it out performs my CTX on plough every time. CTX on pasture though and beach  deeeep. Wink about the same as my Elite with the 15" WOT coil !! when I start the beaches next year that's what I will be back to.....sorry if I digressed a bit.... Wink

Great info thanks, I'm undecided to be honest, I'm thinking of a dues also, is there any difference between the light and the full version?
Thanks

the Deus light consist mainly of a fully telescopic stem.a detecting coil.cordless headphones ws4 charging lead.etc whereas the full set would be the a remote control unit which gives the user total control of changing settings and stores any additional programs of your choice within the detector.as far as the ctx is concerned the weight of 5-1lbs could be an issue for some.
