I have been waiting for my fields to be ploughed, now done rolled and seeded ideal conditions.Nice to get a roman brooch and the broken sadly ring. I am still trying to ID the Farthing it looks a bit different for some reason not sure if it's one of the rarer varieties or run of the mill for the period.  Wink

Hi Dungbeatle, apparently it's a Henry V111, half penny Tower mint. That's flipped in the dies whilst being struck... So a bit unusual mate.

Cheers Ron, it's been a while for me on the medieval front but now I have couple of fields that should produce now it's ploughed just need to put the time in, you and Tom know about that... Wink Wink
