Hi guys I would appreciate some ID and age on these artefacts from my Med 1 field. The stylus has a nib that looks to have been used with ink but has a good age to it. The silver object looks like a furell it measures 1.5 cm. The buckle type artefact looks Saxon? I am not sure but I have seen something similar before somewhere.

Thanks Ron, this field was a bit slow last season, just shows what a turn of the plough can do.  Wink

The silver is quite small so Iíd rule out a walking stick. Maybe off a parasol or a riding crop.
Like you Iíve seen something similar to pic no.1  I remember thinking it looked like a spanner. Canít remember if it was IDíd though.
