Have you had a look at the new Minelab 800. Not out in the UK till December but it looks pretty good with a choice of frequencies from low to high ( 5 - 40 oh) with 4 pre-sets. Plus it’s cheaper than the Deus.

Excellent choice buzzerman, with that combination you can certainly crank the frequency up. As Val pointed out the new minelab will be hitting the shops soon, looks a decent bit of kit aswell, although clearly not proven in the field yet, or for that matter on the beach. Time will tell though.... Wink

My thoughts exactly Paul,....let the impetuous find out the problems...and those with patients be rewarded with a proven metal detector...and also by then a few quid cheaper !!😁..lol..good hunting👍

there is a saying the grass is always greener on the other side comes to mind.have got my name like a lot of others on the list for the new minelab equinox 800 which is also a few months away if then from being a reality and as with any new detector there maybe some initial teething problems that are unseen at present whereas the Deus v4 has already proved its worth with some of my detecting buddies who own one.
