During this years corfe rally where the new equinox was being tested. A couple of mates had a go with the equinox and were not too impressed with it.

However, they also tried the gold monster and thought it was far better and loved little hammies !

Food for thought m8  Wink

would have liked to try one out but as you may be aware I've gone and purchased the Deus v4 with the elliptical h/f coil so if that does not work out the goldmonster will be the next one to try.

One thinks minelab is quite desperate to overcome the loss in sales revenue due to the Deus, but this recent sales ploy to promote a detector that they claim is not quite the finished article
dependant on field trials, from only those in the minelab camp who under a non disclosure agreement can test the detector, whilst trying to promote its probable capabilities.

Not supposed to better the CTX  though I have heard its a ctx without the thrills lol.

I like the idea of the equinox control box being waterproof though.

I cannot envisage hoards of Deus users switching over and ditching their machines for the equinox, time will tell.

The gold monster in the same price range appears to be a more prolific hammy finder though  Roll Eyes

Having used the gold monster and the equinox I think there both very good the recovery speed on the equinox is very good up there with the Deus in those heavy contaminated sites. The gold monster for the money is very good not so good on the speed recovery but very good on deep small targets plus it loves gold.
