Hi guy's heres a few pieces from a search Friday. It seems a slow start to the season for me with little to show from a few short trips, mainly due in part to the stubble still lying in the fields however on one farm you can see from the picture things are moving and the plough is doing the business. These finds came from a well worked site also still in stubble, infact it will be throughout the winter until spring. I haven't yet upgraded to the new coils on the Deus and to be honest the depth this silvered Stater came out of I see no need to? Found with the 11" coil and maxed out settings, ie Full Tones, Sens 90, Audio 4, Reactivity 2.5, Iron 1, Disc 0, and most importantly Freq 8 khz.....The Stater is a Durotrigian tribe common for Wiltshire. The brooch is a 1st Cent Aucissa not the best of condition granted but happy to rescue it, anyway hope you like them until next time good luck....

Well found, again, Paul. We can always rely on you to come back with something of interest.
As far as the coils are concerned, you know the old saying, don't try and fix it if it ain't broke. Very true.
That new Minelab looks a bit tasty though  Tongue

That's true Val, I will wait untill I get my Gold hoard and may be upgrade coils then, although the HF coil would be great to try on my Medieval fields.
I agree although I very much doubt the Equinox will match the Deus on land, it's going to be a success I feel, especially if you want the best of both worlds inland and beach...

My thoughts exactly Paul. If the Equinox had Been around before I up-graded to the Deus I might have gone for that instead. I liked the Minelab, it had a lot of good points.
