Used a Deus for a few years, then decided to buy a Safari second hand and try that on my permissions to see if anything else came up. Sold the Safari 6 months later. Didnt find anything more than the Deus. Safari very heavy after using the Deus. Went back to using the Deus and no inclination to change to anything else.

Safari for beach wins hands down as do all minelabs V Deus on the beach.... Safari has a weight problems but minelabs always have!! nothing new.  Latest model Equinox solves that problem thou.
On land Deus rules especially arable/plough...  Wink

I wouldn't buy an equinox for the first few months that they are on sale, wait until you see what people make of them and any faults are sorted out. Most new models suffer problems when they first come out.

Buy a good second-hand XP 3.2  you can download the v4 software if you want to I haven't downloaded it yet I am happy with the 3.2  the new coils are expensive  I might buy a new coil in the future but happy  with the black ones  as it suits all my needs and more
