Paul, I have had a quick look but afraid I cant ID it, what an absolutely lovely coin though, the detail on it is beautiful. Your mate must be absolutely chuffed to bits with it.  Grin Grin

I know Val, the field in question had a combine catch fire this year as well and lost half the crop very close to coin find. I reckon brought up this year by the plough especially as we had gone over it well last year...but as you know just have to be a few inches out..lol.
