Possibly a weight possibly not, found on the medieval  pasture field, Deeeeep and I mean Deeeeep any thoughts please  Wink it does have evidence of iron staining on the larger end..

Hi Paul.  I've found a couple of these and they are 'cow horn straighteners'.  Big old lumps of lead aren't they?

Seriously Paul!  There's a set for sale on ebay for £90.  They are supposedly used for straightening the horns of bulls.
