Hello guys,myself & tom went out yesterday,on what was a great day weather wise and not a bad day detecting either,called in on the way and had a lovely cold breakfast from wetherspoons even after asking them to make sure it was hot,other than that it was a lovely day out,which started off with a couple of georgies each,then I had a lovely signal dug it out and out pops a lovely horse harness pendant with a unicorn on the front,its the first one we have seen up close I was one happy chappie,i was doing abit of gridding,and I wanted a pxx, so I walked down to the hedge,when I finished I turned around picked my detector up took one step had a lovely little signal and out comes a beautiful lizzy sixpence 1575,i gave tom a shout and you can guess what he said to me,if I fell in shxxt id come up smelling of roses,tom also found the front edge of a bronze axe,i have loved for it to have been whole for him,never mind maybe next time ,cheers guys Ron.

What a great selection of finds. The age range says it all, habitation at least back to the Middle Ages up to present. Lovely horse pendant.
