Keep banging them rocks together

« on: August 06, 2017, 05:27:56 PM »

Can anybody give me a better Id on this little beauty I found today.
The closest I can see is class IVB ( Spinks 1366)
Though it's got cross on crown rather than pellets,  there is no beading above which I can't find a comparison in my book.
Is it Hereford mint or is that wishful thinking?
Thank you Ian

The class is 3a2 - which you can tell from the shape and orientation of the initial mark.....

More details here: http://www.henry3.com/london---3a2-to-3b.html
