had a bit of a disaster this morning on the club dig,got there to find my brand new battery and charging dock had not charged my battery i was gutted  >:(thanks to a member very nice member who lent me his spare detector i did get a few hrs in but was not confident on my targets as not sure how it worked and what to dig and not to dig so had to dart off for a early day,as i was driving off the field i looked down  to see my battery had started charging Huh,i did have a hour on the beach with detector and found a gold fidget spinner lol,how did the dig pan out at end off day? it looked like a promising location.

Weather was ok Anthony and because we needed the numbers to pay the farmer, it was a fairly good turnout as you saw.
Finds were few and far between and there was a rumour that a rally had been held on the land sometime previously, which if true, would  have contributed to the low finds rate.
That doesn't detract from the efforts that Rob made to get us on there, which I for one, appreciated.

Nothing to report for me. A nice  button and a love token which I think is an Irish penny. Cheers Rob for organising much appreciated. Great weather aswell.

Finds were few and far between but seemed worth the wait. Thankyou very much for the dig rob I enjoyed the challenge and it rewarded my efforts with a half silver George 5 half crown and a nice 1812 cemmemorative copper penny for Birmingham and South Wales.
