There was no moneyer called RAVF in my book (coincraft) so I think the 'V' is actually a 'U' making RAUF. There was no RAUF during Richard I's rein so I think it must be a John or Henry III penny (1199 - 1272)

The area where the mint is marked is rubbed away however..

Possible mints with a RAUF moneyer under John are:
Canterbury
Chichester
Lincoln
London

Possible mints with a RAUF moneyer under Henry III are:
London

so most likely a John penny I reckon (1199 - 1216)   Wink
