Good find if it is a stylus.  I have to admit I thought it looked like a Lilly poo, about the same size as  Roll Eyes

There is no sign of a spatulate end to serve as an eraser. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1500. Length (as found): 34.2mm, Diameter: 7.1mm, Weight: 26.99gms.
