Minelab Safari on Amazon

Just been surfing the internet.
I noticed that there are Minelab Safaris for sale on Amazon uk for £299 !!!!!!
Also Minelab Etrac s for £380

This has to be a scam surely
Anyone else seen them or has anyone bought one ??

Wow, just checked it now they have 5 for sale.
If it is a scam you will get your money back via credit card.
They do have feedback that seems OK

Funny on my tablet it says 299, when I try on laptop it's 491?

it says old version, whatever that is, also contact us before ordering limited stock, this usually means they will have none of those in anymore, but will do you a deal on another one they have (new version) at near enough the going rate. Good old fashioned street trading tactics   Draw the customer in first.

The £299 machines have now disappeared off Amazon. 
There is still an old version Etrac for £389 off same company

There's a scam on Amazon at the moment - covers lots of detectors (and other items) where someone says they are selling an item 'which is new, but Amazon won't let me sell it as new' and are much cheaper than any other offering.

They want you to contact them before purchase (off Amazon) and then say that it is stock that has only been opened to demonstrate to a customer, hence the good deal. You still buy through Amazon, but it is a scam, pure and simple - the user changes regularly, but there are the same words, the same reason, same stuff.
