Hi, following illness im now able to return to metal detecting....so bought a Deus and first find was a £1.....good omen!!!
im not a fan of beach detecting and would like to join locals for some regular meets / rallies.
been detecting since 1972 and best find is a roman coin of Tacitus (AD275-276)

There's a large club in Mold and two separate clubs in Wrexham one of which i'm a member of. There maybe others closer with luck. Happy hunting.

I found it hard to find somewhere even remotely close to home in Dolgellau. The nearest clubs are 50 miles away - Mold or Wrexham - and in the end I tossed a coin and joined the Mold club. So far so good, the club is well organised, the members are friendly and digs are arranged fairly regularly. It's a shame it's nearly always a long way to travel but I guess that's my fault for living out here in the sticks.

Good luck finding somewhere.

Hi I'm in Llandderfel near Bala. is there any more room at the Mold club.. I have been told the Wrexham one is full.  shame as I work in Wrexham

From what I understand the Mold club has temporarily closed it's membership until 1st April 2017
