Hi All

Since Mike has upgraded his coil - and last time I followed him in this regard I achieved a modicum of success in detecting, I thought I would look at some of the bigger coils available for the E-TRAC.

I've seen quite a few people who use the 15x18 SEF coils from Detech (such as pondguru on youtube), but on the Detech website they only offer this coil size for the GPX type machines.

I also saw a thread saying that Chef used to sell these coils.

So, I've already got the 13" ultimate - on my second, as it is light and does a good job - any advice? Anyone got a 15x18 coil I can borrow / buy? Could I use the CTX coil on my E-TRAC (given the Pro-coil is used on CTX as well)?.

I'm also tempted to get the standard coil, as I don' have one! Just don't think it would get that much use as I sold it as my Ultimate was / is finding the goodies.

CTX coils are not compatible with the etrac.
Different connectors and wiring.

SEF coils can all be used on etracs
