Just wondering out of curiosity if anyone on here is from the Llantrisant / Talbot Green / Pontyclun Area?

Me, i'm from Talbot Green....used to own the Army Surplus shop on Talbot Road.

My old man also metal detects with me, with his fancy XP Deus.

He used to own Astra Video in Talbot green.

Anyone else around this area?

Whilst I'm from Cardiff, I do detect in the Pontyclun area every so often. Not been particularly successful there myself, so don't go too often (and I also have to phone up a few days in advance to let them know I'm coming)

I did your Grans feet just before she passed away, from gilfach I think
I dont come on here often any more since I was banned from coming on rallies for insubbordination.

Last time I seen you was when I was laying in hospital bed and seen you walk past, just before i had back surgery.

You still go detecting much?

Perhaps me, you and my father should get together saometime and have a bash at detecting....plus you could teach us a LOT I bet!

What detector you use?

My father got a XP Deus Lite ^ I've got the Makro Racer 2.

Hi, Pontyclun boy myself. Id be up for a get together with local lads. Havnt been out for 12mnth now since the birth of my son. So need to get back into it.

I live in Caerphilly and only started out in the Spring wouldn't mind meeting up with someone else , I also have the Racer 2
