Not been out in ages but sure glad i went today,, this coin appears to be around the spink 1326 ie matilda 1139 or a varient of i wonder if some could narrow it down a bit more for me ?

Yes , i know just looking at the value of these coins is crazy , i would not sell it though it has more than monetary value

Great find.

My first thoughts are this could be a Scottish Border coin of Stephen/David I, or maybe just a standard Stephen of the cross moline (Watford) type.

The moneyer is definitely Willem (spelling is WILEALME on the coin), but the mint name is illegible. The full reading could be WILEALME ON CARD (Carlisle mint).

I was also out for the first time in several months today, not as lucky
as you what a great find.
I have some new stuble fields to go at not a great start buttons lead and a 1918 penny so far but you never know the next beep could be
