Nice finds there Andy, them two pointy things with the hole in the middle, I had two of them whatever they are, I left them for the hedges as they didn't look very old.

hi George i think they were part of a stair rod system, but don't know the age of them unfortunately.  Undecided

Andy

The date letter C is for 1878, London mint mark, no sovereigns head is shown as pocket watches were exempt for some reason from duty.
I think the letters PW will be for  Phillip Woodman (1837-1908), London, a renowned watch/ watch case maker.  Wink
Nice find

Brilliant thanks very much for the info. It was just sat on the surface in the field, looks like the farmer buried all the medieval, and brought up all the Georgian / Viccy stuff on this turn of the plough haha

Some great finds, well searched,a also the small oval shaped piece looks very, very similar to a medieval strap/belt mount that came to light when a detectorist(not me) was detecting a spoil heap at an archeological dig I was fortunate to be on. The place was called Porthclun, near Freshwater East,it was on the site of a medieval well chapel. If your find is one of those it may have to be recorded.....👍
