Went out for a few hours detecting yesterday on stubble field and found a few interesting bits n bobs as well as the usual ring pulls, nails and lead.



Tried to put individual pics on but came out too large.
The penny is a George V 1912. The large button to left of penny looks like it may have been enamelled at one time, the thimble's a bit small and the dog is hollow (poor things lost one of his legs so can't stand up). The large disc has 2 marks on the back that look as though they would have been mount pins maybe.

I think you're right about 'his master's voice' dog - pity he's lost his leg though. Don't think it's lead either, a bit too heavy and hard.
