Anyone any ideas on this one, very old core is iron and crumbly, with another metal possibly silver not sure over some of it. Same field as bronze age spearhead and viking bit came from about one and a half inches long by about one inch at its widest

Well to me it looks like a very old pipe join with a build up of lime scale. Other than that I have no idea.

If its lead on the end of the iron its probably a fixing what was set in lead to secure it to a wall, coping stone
some still use that method on railings now.

Its not lead its to hard and won't mark with my finger nail like lead does
