Well a good morning out after a local farmer called to say that his oat crop had failed and that he had cut it back to ground level. So if i wanted to play i was more than welcome! .. whoopee ..... 3 fields to go at with easy walking and detecting!  It will keep me occupied until harvest kicks in!! 

So out pops this little 200 yr old gem of a tanner. Am well pleased with this!

Gosh ... what a great site that is Doc ..... i looked up Tanner and can well recall singing that rhyme in infant school, ..... usually on rainy days, accompanied by the teacher on the piano!!!   Grin Grin     i've bookmarked the link  ..... thanks for the 'memories'
