Hi  Pete, Smiley Help with this one please, needs the rolling pin, not very good detail! Also found a knackered roman disc brooch and I think a roman votive bell, and I have'nt a clue about the shell.

Nice finds Maxine, wonder if the bell was part of the tintinabulum (like that word) that they used to hang in doorways to keep away evil spirits?
Don't know what the shell bit is either, interesting that!

Nice finds maxine. Hammered looks like Edward I Class 10. If you flatten it and get sharper pictures I may be able to refine that to a particular sub-class.

Brooch looks nice to me, but I don't think the bell is Roman, looks a lot later to me.

What's the back of the shell item like?
