Hi Jamie,looks interesting,is it made of lead or what please,also comparison coin does not show sufficiently to give an accurate guide to artifact dimensions.
However it looks a "bit" Saxon,or 14/15 cent,just a guess,but as I say it's just a guess...well searched and saved...👍👏👏
Ah well only a "few"undred years out !!!!.... LOL..😨😱😁

It's a pound coin and it's not lead
I agree it looks a bit Saxon however the lugs don't look old and wonder if it's more likely to be some sort of horse decoration?
