MAD COWS EAT METAL DETECTORISTS !!!🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂

« on: May 28, 2016, 07:18:26 PM »

Thought it was time to put this post up again.
It's getting to be that time of year when all the "orrible"creepy crawlies start to come out with their only purpose in life is to annoy and plague us metal detectorist's.
But there is an answer to keeping them well at bay.
ENGLISH LAVENDER WATER,
Get your self a plastic pray/atomiser....WILCO-S
ENGLISH LAVENDER WATER.....any good chemists,or AMAZON.
Mix 50% LAVENDER WATER 50%water ,and that's it!!
Just spray some around your neck, forehead, wrists, and if your wearing shorts, spray some on your legs...you will NOT get bitten or bothered.
I learned this tip when living for a number of years in mainland Spain.
The Spaniards, grow it around their swimming pools and
 out side their kitchen areas
Give it a try,and I'm positive you won't be disappointed,or BITTEN !!!
Good hunting..👍

Sound advice Chris. Thanks for the reminder. A little late in my case. Midges had a good feast on me in the garden. Annoying little beasts.

'Skin so soft' from Avon lady, it works on the Highland midges, so it must be good, tried and tested.🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜

Avon SSS doesn't work since they changed the formula, ours has been tested in Scotland, Loch Lomand, Glen Affric, Canada, and used on a safari in Africa. so we know it works, our tick oil is a anti feedent which means the ticks may go onto your skin but will not feed and drop off.Our midge repel is the same or similar formula as wilmas Nordic summer. based on a Canadian trappers recipe.

Now that you are starting metal detecting, you want to invent some sort of preparation to keep cattle away. You'd make a fortune out of detectorists if you could  Wink Wink Wink

without doubt the best you can buy is anything containing deet.
there is a product out there using deet and its called REPEL
its a spray and there are different strenghts available and i have always used REPEL 55 which has always kept the mosquitoes and black flies away when i have been in canada and kept the midges away when in scotland.
i have seen tests done on tv by the experts using mosquitoes and repel came out top.
anythjing with deet in it works exceptionally well.
