Hi all,

The weekend is my detecting days but a burst water pipe on the car put a end to that!!
So I took the time to catalogue the newest coins to the collection mostly Dobunni units, I thought id show a couple of pics of how the Cotswold Cock head turns into a cross...... Just look below the 3 horses to see the cock, flower and cross the coins are in order..... Wink

hi dale
nice info any idea of the rulers-kings.

Hi Nonker

All 3 of these coins come under uninscribed (allen types) in Spink number 377 not under a named ruler, but Van Arsdell gave names to these nameless coins his attributions may be right or wrong?
The first coin the Cotswold Cock has not been given a rulers name, the middle coin Cotswold Eagle is thought to be Corio, the right hand coin Cotswold Crosses is thought to be a Catti Wink
