This is the 2nd cartwheel I've found with a hole bored thru the cente. Just out of intrest, does anybody know  ???what the purpose of doing this was?

I think a cartwheel penny weighed 1oz and a cartwheel 2d was 2oz if that helps. But it could be for any reason!
