Can someone tell me if this is right please?
Ive recently upgraded to the 705 from a Garrett 250.
I watched Mals video on the minelab owner forum/youtube to see how to set it up.
So took it today up to a local field to have a quick go and see how I got on.  I did find an old half penny Grin
Here is where my problem starts,,
I know the field is a bit trashy but when im walking around detecting I would have thought the machine would (like the Garrett) be quite unless I hit a target?
I kept getting beeps and blips quit often, too often for it to be trash as I know the field and know it isn't that trashy, plus being new to the 750 I'm not sure if it should even be giving a noise when I hit trash if I'm running it in mode 4 not all metals?
I'm sure It is something not setup up properly but could do with some advice as to what.
Thanks in advance
Dean

Hi Dean, don't know anything on this machine...BUT..normally there will be a couple of pre-sets.
if there are,I would select the one most appropriate for the type of ground your going to search put down a few bits of different metals, coins etc,go over them ,and listen to the tones, again, and again, and again, look at what what the pixels are telling you,its a slow process, be patient,as I said, its  quite a big step up from an ACE,to a Minelab X-terra, and go,and remember !!SLOW and LOW,and eventually it will all start to make sense
Hope this helps.
Good hunting....👍
