Hi Gareth....newbie from Bangor here (living in Cardiff though)

If you go onto Youtube, and search "coin meister wales"....... he seems a very friendly chap, and is from Anglesey..... I`m sure you could get a lot of good info from him.

His name is Neil

Hi Gareth
Im also from Anglesey and new to this. which part of the island are you based ? Theres lots of local history on the island and some protected sites which you need to avoid. If you know any farmers or friends with land its worth asking them for permission and info on the area. best of luck
Im near Llanfairpg

Hi Gareth, Peter, Im Jon from Conwy area and just started myself, Ive got permission on seveal fields in the conwy and llanelian area. Found a few nice bits on my first trip out which ill post when I get chance. I would like to try out some fields in the anglesey area. Im originally from Mernai Bridge Smiley.
I hear that the Llandudno beach left side of the pier is a good area to try once the tide is out! and potentially west shore.

Hi Gareth,
I'm from Llandudno Junction have been detecting for about 3 years now and all I can say it's a fascinating hobby and has taught me a lot about history. If you have any questions this is the place to ask as there is a very big font of knowledge here on this forum and there is always someone out there to help you. So good luck and good hunting.
Regards George
