.........Update on the Offa Coin the lad that found it went to the British Museum with it and they Only give the coin a 8-10k estimate but anything can happen he said on the day may 11th .??  Smiley

Here's the auction result and image. I think that maybe because it was bent it put off the high-end collectors (that's well out of my price range for a coin!), although several other rare / nice coins from the same auction didn't sell either (although everything I bid on seemed to go for a lot more than estimate).
