lol  she flopped out of the nest in front of me and scurried away to act injured to lure me away from the nest,lol.   my eyes went back to where she came from though,

great finds there bluebell.great pics alan.the skylark usualy leaves their nest across the ground first then take of vertically this is to confuse preditors from locating the position of the nest.
i came away with a george 1st half penny. 1919 penny.small georgan buckle.victorian buckle.musket ball.top of a barrel key and bits of lead. great day out cant wait for the next one.
